Umm, I don't think voting is a DA offense. I could be wrong, but I know there have been some changes in regards to voting recently.

The WT's Greatest Blasphemy
by blackguard inhi guys, this belongs with the original post on or about nov 24th, 'watchtower roots'.. the watch tower's greatest blasphemy.
since his corporate coup d'etat after russell's demise.
rutherford had been busily fine tuning his fifth columnist mystical machinery.

one thing that just struck me:.

What's sad from a JW viewpoint at least, is that at last they have a legitimate flaw/shortcoming of the Catholic Church in their handling of this scandal, but since they have their own problems in this area, its kind of hard to point a finger.

Tired of seeing WT reference old magazines....
by WingCommander in.............instead of the bible!!
whenever "new light" comes out, they tell you to ignore their statement made in 1974 watchtower mag #etc, page #, article whatever, paragraph something-something.
i'm sorry, but i never went back to research what those old watchtowers that were printed before i was born even said.

You like that Min? I can still spew it like a pro! I shoulda been on the Writing Commitee. Perhaps I will share more spiritual nourishment in the future. For it is true that although in our modern world, there is no shortage of books, magazines, and online written material, how much of it is truly healthful? Surely it is just as the psalmist-- see there I go again!

Handling of child abuse 2003 in the UK
by Jim Dee innews just filtering in .
the society will be announcing to elders only that child abuse in the uk is to be handled differently in 2003 in the uk
it is well in the advanced planning stage that "regional teams of specially trained elders" (as with the hlc, building committees and press ) teams -planned for 2 teams of 4 elders per circuit (total 8) - are being formed to handle and hear any and all child abuse, alleged child abuse and historical child abuse cases.

Amazing!!! a small step in the right direction. Of course this has nothing to do with the lies the media and apostates have been spreading about God's clean spirit-directed organization. Wonder if this will happen in the U.S. as well.

Official- Bethel cutbacks?
by No Apologies inmy wife told me that last night a letter was read from the society, explaining how all printing operations in brooklyn were being moved to either walkill or patterson, and that worldwide there would be consolidation of the printing operations.
i know there have been rumors like this floating around here for the last month or so, but now it seems there is confirmation.
has anyone else heard about this letter being read?

Now, that's interesting. My wife said nothing about asking for donations. But she could not remember all the details. Said it was posted on the information board if I wanted to read it( I think that was a little slam at me and my poor meeting attendance).

Right on Minimus! The publications are provided to give us guidance on the scriptures through the channel God is using today to lead his people. One only has to look to Christendom to see the confusion that those who reject God's ways are left in. Although they have had access to the Bible for many years, and may even read it from time to time, even the most basic teachings of the Bible have been distorted and twisted. How happy we can be that we can understand even the deeper things found in God's Word. Surely Jehovah is blessing his people in these critical last days!
Okay, I gotta stop now before I hurl.

I've given my last talk
by DIAMOND inas you know or don't know..i'm in the process of doing that slow fade thing.
i still go to the meetings (sunday only) just so i can still talk to family and friends.
well this sunday i went up to the theocratic school overseer and ask him to please take me off the school.

Dropping out of the school is tricky, its not like just not showing up for field service. I told the school overseer to take me off the school "for a while", and that I would let him know when I wanted to be back on the list...
